MRB ENGINEER

• Education: Engineering degree (Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical) required
• English: Fluency in English written and spoken
• Schedule flexibility

• Visa and valid passport

• Support Production with nonconformance conditions reported by Quality department
• Applies knowledge of airframe design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle
• Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances
• Identifies documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution
• Develops and implements product/process improvements
• Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with GKN standards
• Participates in on-site product repair, investigation or support teams
• Designs structural repairs proposals for customer review based on static strength analysis
• Help developing non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards
• Conducts simple static strength analysis

• Experience at least 3 years in similar position (Previous liaison engineering or MRB experience)
• Strong background in repair analysis and troubleshooting, both in sheet metal and composite parts
• Possess the ability to create substantiation reports in support of aircraft airworthiness
• Experience with CATIA V5 strongly preferred. SOLIDWORKS or equivalent will be considered in lieu of CATIA
• Experience with tolerance stacks utilizing GD&T
• Knowledge and experience with AS9100 a plus
